I hope someone can help me on this. I have been a huge fan of something that my local bakery called an almond horn. The recipes I have found for almond horn is not what the bakery was serving.

This item was shaped in a horseshoe shape. It contained almond paste and was rolled in almonds with the ends dipped in chocolate.

I did ask the bakery for the recipe since I was moving from that area and it was a long drive to get them. They refused which I understood but since then they have closed and the owner passed away.

If anyone has any idea what I am talking about please respond, I miss these so much.

Thanks
