I remember going to the grocery store with my dad when I was younger. This was in El Paso,TX around 1960. He would buy this special cake at the bakery. The cake was called a "Canasta Cake" and we would shop at "Piggly Wiggly" market . I would love to find the receipe or where I can buy it. I remember a rectangle, dark chocolate cake, about 5" by 8". It had about 3 or 4 layers each filled with something like a rich chocolate mousse, and have whipped cream on the sides and on top, the whipped cream did not fall or melt. There was like chocolate curls on top of the whipped cream and I believe a cherry. If you can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks
