Hello,

I have a tried and true whole wheat bread recipe that I love BUT I've always made it using my bread machine to mix it up. Then I take it out, knead it a tiny bit, let it rise in the pan a bit and then bake it in the oven.

I'd like to learn to make bread by hand - without using the bread machine to knead it.

Can I use my same recipe, just kneading it until it's the right consistency? But then I guess there's the problem of how to properly mix the yeast with the water and oil.

IF I can use my regular recipe, can you tell me the method I should use to mix and knead it?

I would very much appreciate any help you can offer!

ali :)
