KISS CAKES4 egg whites 2 cups sugar 1 level tablespoon cornstarch 1 teaspoon vanilla Dash of almond extract 1 cup broken pecans Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. Beat egg whites very stiff. Add sugar a little at a time and beat well after each adding. Very important to add only small amount of sugar at a time! Sprinkle in cornstarch. Flavor with vanilla and a dash of almond extract. Then add the pecans. Drop on waxed paper by the tablespoon. Bake in a very slow oven, 250 degrees, about 45 minutes.
