CRUNCHY KRISP OATMEAL COOKIES

1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat an cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

Cream the sugars, oil, and butter. Beat in egg and the vanilla; set aside.

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar. Slowly add to creamed mixture. Fold in oatmeal, Rice Krispies, and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on racks.
