BLACK-EYED SUSANS

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Semisweet chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugars; add egg, vanilla and peanut butter. Beat until light. Add sifted dry ingredients, and mix well.

Force dough through spritz gun or cookie press onto ungreased baking sheets, using a disc that will make a flower design. Put a chocolate piece in the center of each.

Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes.

Makes about 5 dozen
