Hi June! Am so glad I asked about a recipe. It looks super easy and I have all the ingredients. Looked into Martha's recipe - hers was more complicated. I'm definitely going to bake a batch first thing tomorrow morning.
Have you ever tried substituting butter (salted or unsalted?) instead of margerine? I don't mind trying it but prefer butter in baking.. *not to worry if it can't be subbed..
Good news too - I threw out the old Baking Powder I had - I knew it was too old but seeing your words just gave me the "courage" to do it - lol... I just hate wasting things but understand in baking you need to use good stuff...
Sounds like summer down there - our blizzard has now turned into freezing rain. Guess hubby will be working from home tomorrow - lucky him - he will get nice warm cookies. :)
Been nice chatting. This is a really nice site.. I especially love baking more than actual cooking. Not good on the hips though.
