When my daughter refused to eat mashed baby food I started mixing it with chunked food. I would then freeze it for later use and microwave it befor serving. They were like little microwave dinners for babies and toddlers.

To use up turkey baby food cut cooked turkey into small chunks and mix it with turkey baby food. For roast beef baby food mix it with small chunks of cooked roast beef. The same can be done with all meat baby foods. The baby food acts as a preservative. You can add cooked rice or boiled small noodles. Canned, fresh, and frozen vegetables could also be added. Steam or boil fresh vegetables and cut them into small pieces. If you are freezing the mixture you can simply add the frozen or canned vegetables (be sure pieces are small enough to chew). Put the mixture into small freezable microwave safe containers. Cover containers and place in the freezer. When reheating, remove lid and microwave until heated through. Allow food to cool before serving.
