BROWN SUGAR PECAN ROUNDS

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 1/4 cups Gold Medal flour
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix butter, brown sugar and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. (Dough will flatten and spread.)

Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until set.

Makes about 3 dozen
