SPICY APPLE COBBLER
4 or 5 medium apples 1/4 cup Imperial Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 cup Imperial Pure Cane Granulated Sugar 1 cup sifted flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 cup milk 2 tablespoons melted butter
Peel and slice apples into 8x8x2-inch square cake pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar; dot with 2 tablespoons butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Combine sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, milk and melted butter; pour over apple mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F, about 45 minutes.
Serve either hot or cold with whipped cream.
