My family enjoys this and I hope you will too.
About 1 quart of Strawberries 1 box of powdered pectin About 1 quart of Blackberries 1/2 tsp. of margarine 6 1/2 cups sugar
Need 4 1/2 cups of prepared fruit (Crush strawberries and measure out 2 cups. Crush blackberries and strain half of them to get the juice - add to other blackberries to get 2 1/2 cups.) Place prepared fruit into a pot adding pectin and margarine. Bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Add sugar all at one time and return to full rolling boil. Boil exactly 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and skim off foam. Place in jars and process in water bath for 15 minutes. Makes about 8 cups.
PS You can use frozen fruit for part or all of the required fruit.
