another corn question, in freezing corn i would love to hear some opinions on rather to balnch or not before freezing either on or off cob. i have found some of my frozen corn tastes like the cob after a few months in freezer. i use the good freezer bags, but i don't blanch my corn first. just cut it off mix with melted butter some salt and sugar and freeze. For years this always turned out great, but last few years, tastes like the cob. Any ideas on this? thanks the corn is coming on!! Nancy from southern ohio
