Hello. This is first time I've come to this site and it looks great. I have a question someone might be able to answer. I have a kiwifruit jam recipe that uses 4 1/2 cups crushed kiwis, 1 3/4 oz. pectin, and 7 cups sugar. Seems like a lot of sugar, no? Also, says yield is 8 cups. Does that seem like it could be right? Has anyone ever made kiwi jam or preserves? Any advice you could give me would be most appreciated. thanks, sydne |
