A pressure canner is needed, not a pressure cooker. I usually recommend a Presto brand or some other well known brand because you can get replacement parts easily. Also, be sure to have your gauge tested yearly. The extension office should offer this service. The difference between the salt is canning and pickling salt does not have the anticaking additive as table salt, therefore does not leave a residue in your jars that can make your water look cloudy. It is cheap to buy canning salt, usually comes in a sack. You can find good used canners at garage sales. Some of the older, heavier ones are great.
