I know you did not ask me, but, I have 2 canners. One is an older Presto. It is good, but I really like my 22 quart Presto. I can stack 2 layers of pint jars at a time, usually get 16 in at a time. You can also do 3 layers of half pints. It only does 7 quarts at a time. It is great! The older one only does 7 jars of any size at a time. I get both of them going at the same time on my stove.
