Not sure if this is what you are looking for. Not exactly "canned" . . . Please let us know if you try them.

Pickled Hot Dogs

4 -- 1# packaged wieners, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 large onions, thinly sliced
3/4 cup sugar
2 T. salt
4 t. cumin
4-1/2 oz. pepper sauce
4 cups white vinegar
1 t. pickling spices
1-1/2 t. whole black pepper

Combine sliced onions with wieners; set aside. Mix rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Put onions and wieners in a jar and pour sauce over them. Cover tightly. Refrigerate several days before serving.
