Thank you for this fantastic recipe!! My mother inlaw's family grew up in Germany and she remembered having a great stollen. However, for over 30 years she could never find a stollen to match those from years ago. I followed your recipe and let the stollen sit for 3 weeks. I gave it to my mother in law Christmas Eve. She tried it and started to cry. She said that it reminded her of when she was a little girl. Thank you from myself and my mother in law!
