I have been roasting my turkeys on the grill for
several years. I just rub it with cooking oil,
season with pepper and garlic powder then place
it inside my enamal roasting pan (with no lid).
I put 1/2 cup of water inside the pan to catch
initial turkey drippings to keep them from
burning then place the roaster on the grill.
Both burners are set on the lowest setting.
I roast the turkey for twenty minutes per pound.
It comes out golden brown, moist and tastes
delicious. It leaves plenty of room inside
in the oven to prepare other dishes.
