I just did this and it worked out great. I took some lemons (already used) and put them in a jar. I filled it to the top with vodka. I let it sit in a dark cool place for three weeks. Then I strained it into a pretty bottle. It now can be used in any recipe.

You can do this with any flavoring you can think of. I also did it with mint because I saw on The TV Food Network that you can mix mint vodka with lemonade and it is supposed to be a great drink.

You can try it with any fruit. It imparts a great color to it.
