Kentucky Pecan Pie
1 cup white corn syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dark brown sugar 1 heaping cup shelled whole pecans
1/3 teaspoon salt 3 eggs slighty beaten
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 9-inch pie shell
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter, and vanilla
Fold in Pecans and eggs and pour mixture into pie shell. Bake about 45 minutes, until center of filling tests done with tip of knife. Allow to cool briefly and serve topped with whipped cream.
