Here's another version. I have not seen the directions written out, but this is my best description:

Open an Oreo cookie. Using chocolate frosting as glue, place the two halves at right angles, filling side inward. Put a malted milk ball between the halves, for the turkey's body. Place candy corn, spoke-like, on the inside of the upright cookie half, for the turkey's tail-feathers. Complete the turkey by attaching a cinnamon candy on the malted milk ball, as the turkey's snood.
