Cranberry Apple Mold
from Joys of Jello

1 pkg. (3 oz.)strawberry jello
1/8 tsp. salt
1 & 1/4 cup boiling water
1 can (1 lb.) jellied cranberry sauce
2 cups finely chopped apple

dissolve jello & salt in boiling water. break up cranberry sauce with fork. add to jello mixture. chill until very thick. fold in apples. pour into individual molds. chill until firm. unmold. makes about 4 cups or 6 to 8 servings. i skip the salt. we like it better without the apples. we just put it in a nice serving bowl, & pass it around. it is super with turkey & ham sandwiches, too. if adding apples, use your judgement-don't let get too thick. good luck. happy thanksgiving! nancy
