I have two dessert recipes that I make for Christmas. Hope you enjoy them.
Chocolate Steamed Pudding (My Mother-in-law)
1 tsp. butter 1 1/2 oz. chocolate (unsweetened) 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt
Place all ingredients in a pudding mold, and steam for one hour. Then, beat together until light: 1/2 pint heavy cream, fold in 1 egg white with 1/2 c. sugar added to the egg white, and 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. vanilla. Fold into cream. Serve with the steamed pudding. This is yummy, and very rich.
