I was served this last year at a Christmas Luncheon our company gave. It was held at a cabin in the woods by a local caterer. Each room in the cabin was decorated with a different christmas theme and decorations and all different types of trees. Food served in a pretty fashion is very appealing to me and I hope to others. I made this for our family Christmas dinner and it went over well.

Purchase a Sara Lee pound cake. Cut off crust. Cut the cake into 1 1/2 inch cubes. Coat cake cube with a clear frosting glaze and roll in coconut. Cover and refrigerate.

When ready to serve, pour some boiled custard or eggnog in a small footed dish, place a small scoop of vanilla ice cream in the dish, and top with a dab of whipped cream, sprinkle nutmeg on top.

On a small plate put a paper doily, place your ice cream and custard dish on it and then arrange your coconut cake cube next to it. Serve. It is very pretty and very easy.
