If you want a mint flavored cocoa mix, take peppermint candies and crush them; add to dry mix. These will dissolve with when making hot cocoa. Also, you can add a small amount of peppermint extract to dry mix; it will absorb and not stay moist. I usually add both the crushed candies and extract to my mix. To crush, put a few candies or candy canes in a small ziplock bag and pound with something till all candies are in very small pieces. Do more until desired flavor is reached.
