peppermint fudge recipe

note: I made this last night and found that you can
increase the peppermint extract slightly to taste,
also, it does contain choc, but is very easy and
tasty.

1 (11.5 oz) package Ghiradele Milk Chocolate Chips (2
cups)
1 cup Ghiradeli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 (14 oz) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (
NOT cevaporated milk)
dash of salt
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy

In saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened
condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat, stir in
extract. Spread evenly into a soil-lined 8 or 9 inch
square pan. Sprinkle with peppermint candy. Chill
two hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting
board and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at
room temperature.

This recipe is from Eagle Family Foods, Inc.
