Chocolate Frosted Toffee Bars
1 cup butter 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 egg yolk 1/2 teasp. vanilla 2 cups all purpose flour 1 (6 ounce) pkg. chocolate chips 1 cup pecans (toasted)
Cream butter in a medium bowl, add sugar, beating until fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla beating until well blended. Add flour, mix well. Press dough evenly into an ungreased jellyroll pan. bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, or until brown. spread chocolate chips on warm cookies and sprinkle with pecans. Cut into bars and let cool.
