Melt 2lbs. of white chocolate (double boiler or other method of melt?), crunch 12 candy canes into pieces and stir with 1/2 teaspoon natural peppermint flavoring into the melted chocolate. Remove from heat and pour onto a 11x17 baking pan lined with parchment paper. Chill. When firm break into pieces. 10 small candy canes, crushed 8 ounces white chocolate, melted a few drops of mint extract
Crush candy canes....I use a plastic bag and a meat pounder Melt white chocolate..carefully if over heat Combine melted chocolate with crushed canes Add a few drops of mint extract.....the recipe suggests peppermint extract, but I only had mint, which works just fine. Pour onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Allow to cool for about an hour. Pull candy off paper and break into bite sized pieces. This is just delicious!!
