Hi Marcia, Maybe someone will find the exact recipe. While we're waiting, here are two, one with yeast and one without, that look similar to what you're requesting. Sour Cream Nut Rolls 6 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 5 tbsp. sugar 2 pkgs. dry yeast 3/4 c. warm water 1/2 c. margarine, melted 1/2 pt. sour cream 3 eggs, beaten FILLING: 2 lbs. nuts, ground 1 egg, beaten 2 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. margarine, melted 1 c. milk, boiled Mix together all filling ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. Mix together ingredients for rolls. Roll out, place in pans. Fill and let stand for 1 hour to rise. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Mom’s Nut Rolls 5 c. flour 1 lb. oleo, softened 6 tbsp. sugar 4 egg yolks 1/2 pt. sour cream 2 tbsp. vanilla FILLING: 4 lbs. ground nuts 2 egg whites 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. vanilla 1 stick oleo, softened Mix flour and oleo together. Add sugar, yolks, vanilla and sour cream, mixing well. Chill the dough (can be refrigerated overnight). Roll dough out in powdered sugar and cut in 2-inch squares. Fill with nut filling and roll in shape. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. FILLING: Slightly beat egg whites; add sugar, vanilla, and oleo. Mix well and add the nuts.
