Thaw turkey as you normally do. Pat dry. Remove giblits.
In fry pan, fry bacon to med crispy, cool & crush with rolling pin.
In separate bowl, mix softened butter, crushed bacon,
Onion powder & Garlic Powder. Loosen skin
with your fingers on breasts, thighs & legs
& stuff butter mixture under skin as far in as you can.
Rub additional butter mixture all over & inside
Turkey. Roast as you normally would.
Stuffing: I "doctor up" Stove Top by adding cooked
wild rice, chopped mushrooms & chopped water chestnuts.
