BANANA SPLIT CAKE

2 cups crushed graham crackers
2 sticks margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 box powdered sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) margarine
1 teaspoon vanilaa
4-5 bananas
20 oz. crushed pinneapple, drained
Cool Whip
chocolate syrup
marashino cherries
chopped nuts

Mix graham cracker crumbs, 2 sticks margarine and 1/4 cup sugar. Press into a 9X13 pan and chill 15 minutes or more. Blend powdered sugar, 2 sticks margarine and vanilla until fluffy and light. Spread over crust. Slice bananas and arrange over filling. Top with pinneapple. Cover with Cool Whip, drizzle with chocolate syrup, top with cherries and sprinkle with nuts. Yum!!

(The original recipe called for 2 eggs beaten with the powdered sugar mixture, but I was not comfortable serving raw eggs so I now leave them out and it tastes just fine)
