looks like im not the only one driven over the edge by "the great lamb cake disaster!" this easter! my aunt made one every easter as i was growing up...wasnt till she passed away that i wanted to try! i enherited her mold...but never asked her how she made it! this easter was my 1st attempt. putting batter in both halves DIDNT WORK! looks like conjoined at the hips lambs! so i filled the gaps with 7 minute frosting (which is delicious...especially if the cake mix is german chocolate...and covers easier!)within 20 minutes the back half of the head fell off! 10 minutes later the front head went! (i didnt know to use toothpicks!) i cried...my husband laughed..and my kids thought it tasted good anyway! i used green easter grass around the bottom..what a mess! green coconut....brilliant! now that youve given me the answers...i'll do it RIGHT next year and surprise my family! thank you
