Okay, these are the cutest little biscuits you'll ever make! I am actually making them right now (I am looking for a 7up cake recipe) and I wish I had a digital camera to help you out...I'll try to give a good description!
You will only need refrigerated large flaky biscuits (such as Grands) and a sharp knife.
Seperate biscuits. First, cut the biscuit in half, so you have two half circles. Cut two 1/4 inch slits in one biscuit half from the rounded edge toward the straight edge, but do not cut all the way through to the straight edge. Your biscuit half will resemble a W, forming the turkey feathers.
Lay the uncut biscuit half vertically. Place the cut biscuit half horizontally on the end of the other biscuit half, forming a capital T, with the rounded cut edges facing up. you should have the cut biscuit half on the top 1/3 of the uncut half.
Next, fold the remaining 2/3 of the uncut biscuit half up over the cut biscuit half, so now the cut biscuit half is sandwiched between the uncut half. Pinch this together at the fold.
Fold the uncut biscuit down so you if you look at it sideways it appears that your cut biscuit half is riding in the back portion of a sideways S. This extra fold forms the turkey's head.
Is this making sense???!!! Now, lay the turkey on a baking sheet, folded head up. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
I hope this helps you!!! Christina
