ISO: Baking Lamb Cake - Old Cast Iron Molds

I too have 3 very old lamb cake molds, one large and two small, made of cast iron. I am going to attempt to make Angel Food cake in them for Easter because my Dad loves it. Is it a a good idea to use Angel food mix? What temperature should I bake them at? Should I follow the box temperature? They are lay down molds. My Mom & Grandma always made them when I was a kid.
