Every Christmas I make a wonderful batch of brownies with peppermint using a Ghirardelli Brownie mix. Just cook brownies according to the directions.
Immediately after removing the brownies from oven, generously sprinkle crushed candy canes on top. They sort of melt on top of the hot brownies and cool into a hard glaze. Great holiday treat! Hope this is what you were looking for. Jill
