PEANUT BUTTER ROLL
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter 2 boxes (1 lb each) confectioners' sugar Peanut Butter
Melt butter and cream cheese together over low heat.
Remove from heat and stir in the confectioner's sugar, mixing well.
Roll out into a flat layer on a sheet of wax paper.
Spread a layer of peanut butter over top. Roll into a long roll. Wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate until set. Cut in slices to serve.

1 (1 lb) box confectioner's sugar 1/2 cup (1/4 lb) butter, melted 1 tsp vanilla milk (a little) smooth peanut butter
Mix sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Add a little milk if needed. Mix until smooth (consistency of dough). Roll out as if rolling pie crust.
Spread peanut butter over the rolled out mixture and roll into roll. Wrap in wax paper and freeze or refrigerate. Cut into pieces when set.

I'm sorry about the loss of your Aunt. Hopefully one of these recipes is similar to the one she used and will bring you fond memories. For the chocolate version, I would try stirring cocoa into the sugar mixture starting with 2 tablespoons and adding until you get the taste you're looking for.
