I have lost my favorite Christmas cookie recipe. The recipe calls for sour cream and baking soda to be mixed and set aside. The dough is extremely soft and the recipe didn't call for it to be chilled. I think the cookies taste similar to the frosted ones from WalMart, only better. I got the recipe when I was stationed at Lajes Field, Azores. The wife of a friend of my husband had made them and gave me the recipe. She just called them "Excellent Cookies"
