This is a great recipe that everyone loves. I found it in the paper a few years ago.

SHREDDED BEEF SANDIWCHES

1 (3-4) lb beef chuck roast
1 pkg Ranch Dressing mix
1 pkg Italian Dressing mix
1 pkg Brown gravy mix
dollar buns or hamburger buns (for serving)

Place roast in the bottom of the crockpot. Mix together the three powdered mixes and sprinkle over the roast. Pour 1/2 cup water in as well. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Checking near the end of cooking time to see if beef is very tender.

Shred with 2 forks. Serve on dollar buns or hamburger buns.

These are great plain or serve with mayo, pickles, sliced salad peppers, lettuce, tomato, onion or coleslaw.

Serves about 12 people as a meal.
