Recipe: Eggnog Spritz (Mirro Cookie Press, 1950's)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
EGGNOG SPRITZ

1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons rum flavoring
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Cream butter and sugar well. Beat in egg and rum flavoring.

Gradually blend in dry ingredients which have been sifted together.

Form cookies with MIRRO Cookie Press on ungreased MIRRO Cookie Sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.

Makes 6-7 dozen

I don't know if this is the recipe you're looking for, but you could try substituting almond extract for the rum flavoring.
