Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups milk, 2% lowfat
3 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix dry ingredients. Add 1/2 cup cold milk, mix. Meanwhile heat remaining milk. Add to chocolate mixture. Boil only one minute. Cool, add vanilla.
