This is a recipe I have used for years, from a pressure cooking book and I've long forgotten the title.

Go through your fridge and pantry and find bits and pieces of leftovers and other things you have that would go well in soup. I usually use leftover meat, broth, bullion or stock base, canned tomatoes, limp celery and carrots, onions and what have you. I add enough water to make it soup-like.

Place all ingredients in a pressure cooker and cook under 15 pounds pressure for 10 minutes. Remove from the burner and let sit for 5 minutes. Then take to the sink and run cold water over the lid to take the pressure down. Open. Add pasta or rice if you want and cook until it's done. Serve.

The soup is always wonderful. The pressure cooker does something about blending flavors. It's a wonderful way to use up the scraps you might throw out, too.
