Hi Sandi;
This is the recipe my Mom used back in the 40's. It was always very good.
SNOW ICE CREAM

2 eggs, beaten
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

In a large bowl, add sugar to eggs and beat well. add half and half and vanilla.
Put in a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Chill. Do this on a day when it is really snowing. When the mixture is ready, go out and get some, clean fresh snow. Add to the mixture enough snow to make it thick. Eat immediately. Yummy!!!!!
