When I was in grade school we used the milk cartons that we drank as the base of our "gingerbread" houses. We used the frosting to "glue" graham crackers to the milk carton, and it makes a perfect house shape. Then we got to focus on the important part- the decorating! You can use small milk cartons or large ones for tall houses!
