I'm looking for a recipe for what are called "Italian Easter Cookies" and what makes this recipe different from all the other Italian Easter cookie recipes is that this recipe contains a large amount of eggs. If memory serves me correctly I believe the recipe calls for a dozen eggs. These cookies are formed into balls and baked and then frosted with a confectioner's sugar frosting. The cookies also are flavored usually with lemon. They are a very light cookie and freeze very well. If anyone out there can help me I'd really appreciate it. The only other thing I can tell you about this recipe is that they cookies were very small, about the size of a golf ball. Thanks in advance for your help.
