Hi Jolene,
I have a few of the recipes but this is the one I made last time.

5 large eggs 4 to 41/2 cups all-purpose flour (I sift it)
1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla peanut oil for deep-frying
confectioner's sugar
In large bowl, beat eggs and sugar till well blended. Add vanilla. Sift together flour and baking powder and add slowly to egg mixture.Mix with hands to form a ball. Turn onto a floured surface and knead till soft but no longer sticky; add more flour if necessary.
Cut into 4 pieces. Roll each out each piece on a floured surface with rolling pin to 1/4 inch thick. With knife or pastry wheel cut into strips and tie in loose knots or leave in strips. Place on lightly floured kitchen towel till ready to deep fry. Heat oil to 375 f. Fry strips till golden and drain on paper. Let cool and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.

I hope you like these this is my godmother's recipe. :)
