Hi Michelle! I just found your recipe for Amy's stir-fried noodles. This
sounds good but I have a few questions. What is a Bombay onion? What is salt
fish? What is "thick" soy sauce? Can I substitue any ingredients for these
items?
I love Singapore-style stir-fried noodles with curry in them too. I have
several Singaporean friends (from my days in England)that are now back in
Singapore. I think that might have to be a stop-over on our future journey to
Australia. I hear that the food is fantastic! One of my best pals here is
from Singapore too and, although she is quite slender, all she does is eat! I
love going to her parties as her friends bring food from all different
countries. Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, China. As you can
imagine, it is wonderful. Looking forward to your response. K
