We had Japanese food last night. One dish was the salad. (The usual vegetables you can think of...) And I used the Ginger Dressing below. It was fabulous with teriyaki chicken, boiled short grain rice and miso soup... PS: I also made the green tea ice cream (with Cathy's specialt trick: sweet bean paste!) I was really full! ^__^
PS: Make sure you use Japanese products to produce the fabulous flavor. I think the Chinese ones don't do the trick... ---------------------------------------------- Source: Ken Iisaka Preparation time: 5 minutes Here are 2 simple recipes:
Oil and Vinegar (I haven't tried this one yet!) 1 tbs rice vinegar 2 tbs vegetable oil 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp soy sauce salt and pepper Ginger Dressing 1 tbs rice vinegar 1 tbs vegetable oil 1 tbs sesame oil 1 tbs grated fresh ginger 1 tsp soy sauce
Bon Appetit!
