Hi Gina, I actually got a Culantro plant at Kash and Karry, but was not happy with it. I probably watered it too much and the long leaves have very sharp points. It is supposed to do better in hot climates than cilantro. I did quite a bit of research on it, because I was confused when I saw such a different plant called Culantro, which I had always assumed was another name for the usual cilantro with the divided roundish leaves. I can never resist something new. Here is one site that has information and pictures. I would be interested to know if your Mom has seen it or is familiar with it. If you do a search, there are other sites that give the various names it is called in the different cultures it is used.
