Well, some friends and I have made this quite successfully!.
Just use Almond meal and fresh basil. Belnd the two together in whatever quantity you like. We tend to use about 500gms of meal and a handfull of basil for 3-4 people. This filling is fairly dry, and will leach moisture from the pasta, so it's best to cook it immediately...it wont keep.
