My boyfriend is recently here from the UK and he's always saying that you can't get a proper breakfast fry up here. We're in Seattle, WA.

He's talked about the things that make up this breakfast a few times:
Baked beans
Fried eggs
Fried mushrooms
Fried tomatoes
Fried bread
Fried potatos
Back bacon
Bangers
HB sauce
And of course a nice hot cup of tea

I know it's just breakfast and probably seems like a no brainer but I want it to be as authetic as possible. The way he's described it sounds like I just need to fry up the bacon and sausage then fry everything else up in the resulting grease, mmmmmm.

I have a few questions though. The mushrooms and tomatoes, are they cut into slices or chunks, floured or just the way they are? Is there a certain type of bread that works best for the fried bread? I know he likes the eggs served on top of the fried bread and that his Mum always cut the crust off the bread ;) As far as presentation goes are there any other things that usually go in a certain place?

If anyone can offer any tips for preparing this breakfast or suggest any other items I may be missing that would make it more complete or special I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for your help.
